• We recommend using distilled, bottled, OR filtered water, as this will improve the performance of the machine. Tap water with a hardness of <100 PPM is also acceptable
• Water with excessive calcium will diminish performance and increase the need to clean the machine
• The machine will not produce ice if tap water with hardness > 100 PPM is used
• Do NOT add water until the Water Level LED flashes quickly in RED. Overfilling the reservoir may lead to water overflowing when the ice melts completely
